Vidyapravesh, an initiative into learning for VI std students, was celebrated on 16th June 2018 at 7.30 am in our school premises. Around 220 students along with their parents attended the function. Our Principal Smt. S. Usha Rani lighted the lamp and inaugurated the function. Medha Dakshinamoorthy Ashtothra Namavali was chanted by the gathering and a divine atmosphere was created. The Correspondent Sri. S. Gopalakrishnan welcomed the Chief Guest Sri.K.Ponraman, Education Officer, Vivekananda Educational Society and Sri. Balakrishnan, SMDC Member and the august gathering. The Principal administered the Oath taking Ceremony. The students prostrated before their parents and got their blessings.

While addressing the gathering, Sri. K. Ponraman stated about three mothers, Bhuvaneswari Devi m/o Swami Vivekananda, Jija Bai m/o Shivaji, Lakshmi Bai m/o MadhavaSadha Siva Rao Golwalkar, who changed the lives of their sons and inspired the students. He also quoted a few Thirukkurals to remind the duty of a father in moulding a child. He advised the students to live for others and assured that VES students will definitely change the society with their sheer determination and hardwork. The Correspondent invited the parents for International Yoga Day celebrations on 21.6.18(Thursday). The programme came to an end with Shanthi Manthram.
