NATIONAL KABADDI TOURNAMENT – 2016
On 16th September 2016, Sri.J.M.Kasipathy Ji, All India Organising Secretary, Vidya Bharati, presided over the function. Sri.Gopalakrishna Shetty, CEO, G.K.Shetty Builders hoisted the Vidya Bharati Flag. The total number of boys – 95 (8 teams) and girls – 86 (8 teams) were participated.
On 18th September 2016, the programme started with lighting the kuthuvilakku by Sri.Ramakrishna Rao ji, All India Vice President, Vidya Bharati. Sri.Ramamoorthi ji, Secretary, Vidya Bharati welcomed the gathering. The report was read by Sri.S.Gopalakrishnan Ji, Correspondent, G K Shetty Vivekananda Vidyalaya Junior College and the Co-ordinator of the entire programme. The prizes were distributed to the winners. All the officials were also honoured. The vote of thanks was given by Sri.Suresh Kesavan Ji, Joint Secretary,Vidya Bharati, North Tamil Nadu. The programme came to an end with National Anthem.
