KARTHIGAI DEEPAM CELEBRATIONS Karthigai Deepam was celebrated in our school premises on 8.12.2014, Monday. The programme commenced with Arunachala Akshara Manamalai which was sung by our teachers. The dais was decorated with a colourful Rangoli.of Arunachaleswar and Thiruvannamalai. Our tamil teacher Smt.T.Tamil Selvi explained the importance of Karthigai Deepam. She gave a speech about Agni Stalam, Thiruvannamalai and also the significance of lighting lamps at our homes, which enlightened the children. After Deepaaradhanai, the school was illuminated with earthern lamps by our X STD students. The lights made the place very beautiful. It shows that we can see God in the form of light. The programme came to an end with Shanthi Mantram. Prasadam was distributed to the parents, students and the teachers.
